In March 2019, FOW Interactive studio beganfundraising campaign, asking the community for £100,000. The developers promised a dialogue system, turn-based battles, battles in space, as well as the ability to seduce girls, gaining their trust and getting them into bed. Non-standard gameplay solutions, but the FOW Interactive studio has already become famous for its computer films for adults, in which characters from video games participate.

The Kickstarter community liked the idea so much that58 thousand users raised 1,668,626 pounds (about 2,179,067 US dollars) for the developers. Thanks to this, the game reached 17th place among the most popular gaming projects. Subverse beat out Star Citizen (18th place, $2,134,374), Divinity: Original Sin II (19th place, $2,032,434) and Kingdom Come: Deliverance (21st place, $1,444,921). Note that the popularity of the game did not help it receive the “Project We Like” badge from the Kickstarter administration.

Thanks to the collected amount, FOW Interactive will be able torealize all your ideas. So in the final version there will be more girls, additional animations, quests for the loyalty of partners and full voice acting (including sex scenes). In addition, the authors will release a manga in which they will tell the backstory of the heroines.

Subverse will be released in Steam Early Access in the summer of 2019.
