Mate has been producing folding electric bicycles for 7 years, and yesterday it announced its

the first cargo bike equipped with an electric motor. The new product is called Mate SUV.

What is known

The electric cargo bike is still onprototype stage. It is equipped with a 250 W motor that allows it to accelerate to 25 km/h. The manufacturer is Oli Edge. The engine produces a maximum torque of 90 Nm.

According to the manufacturer, fully chargedMate SUV battery can travel 100 km. Vehicle weight without accessories is 49 kg. Additionally, you can install a child seat and a roof that will protect from rain. The trunk capacity is 210 liters.

Mate SUV can be used to recharge gadgets. To do this, it is equipped with a USB connector. Also, the electric bike received an anti-theft system and LED backlight.
