MBDA Deutschland showed a full-size prototype of the JFS-M missile with a maximum launch range of 499 km

German defense companies are actively working on modernizing artillery. MBDA Deutschland recently showed

a full-size variant of the Joint Fire Support Missile (JFS-M) for rocket artillery.

What is known

MBDA Deutschland brought a full-size JFS-M prototype to an exhibition in Munich. The missile is 2.6 meters long, has a wingspan of 1.5 meters and weighs approximately 300 kg.

JFS-M has active and passivehoming. The maximum launch range is 499 km. During the flight, the rocket takes into account the terrain. The strength of the JFS-M is the ability to launch from air platforms.
