What is known

Medal of Honor:Above and Beyond is a shooter set in the Second World War. The player will become an agent of the Office of Strategic Services and travel across Europe to join the French resistance. According to development director Peter Hirschmann, gamers will find more than 50 levels covering the period from 1943 to 1945. Above and Beyond will take 10 hours or more to complete.

A PC Gamer journalist has already tried out the gameand praised the developers for their interactivity. So, to get a pistol or machine gun, you need to bring the VR controller to the desired place on your body and hold down the button. To reload, you will have to manually remove the magazine, throw it away and install a new one. The character can also catch a grenade flying at him and throw it back at the enemy.

The player moves not using teleports standard for VR games, but using a joystick on the Oculus Rift controller. Moreover, the hero can shoot from around the corner and conduct “blind fire” from cover.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond will be released in 2020 on Oculus Rift, but the developers do not rule out a release on other platforms.
