Deadline reports that box office receipts for Avatar: The Way of Water have already exceeded $1.3 billion.
It took James Cameron just over two weeks to achieve this result, as the premiere of the second part of Avatar took place on December 16th.
The filmmaker emphasized that for paybackhis works should reach $2 billion at the box office, although analysts believe that the threshold for profitability is probably closer to $1.5 billion.
