Deadline reported that Sony is preparing to begin filming a feature film based on the biker movie.
According to their source, the film's screenwriterwill be Sheldon Turner, known for his work on the plots of “X-Men: First Class” and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning”. It is not yet known who will become the director, but controversy has already flared up over the leading actor. Initially, actor Sam Heughan, known for the TV series Outlander, was announced for the role of Deacon St. John, but Days Gone game director Jeff Ross was dissatisfied with the choice. He believes Sam Witwer, who plays Deacon in the game, is ideal for the role. For now, the situation with the leading actor, as well as the other roles, remains unclear.
