A group of Ukrainian military personnel completed a training program on the use of air defense systems
What is known
The information was shared by two Italianmedia. The training took place in Italy. Presumably, about 20 Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel participated in the program. Deliveries of the air defense system should begin this month. By the way, Italy is transferring SAMP/T air defense to Ukraine together with France. In addition to the anti-aircraft missile system, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will also receive 700 Aster-30 anti-aircraft missiles and two Ground Master 200 radars with a range of up to 250 km.

For those who are not in the know
SAMP/T &mdash is an anti-aircraft missile systemfor surface-to-air missiles. It was developed by the European consortium Eurosam (a joint venture of MBDA Italy, MBDA France and Thales). The complex is designed for air defense of mechanized units, as well as air defense of important facilities from massive attacks. The air defense system is capable of destroying air targets at an altitude of up to 25 km and at a distance of up to 100 km.
