Media: Ukrainian military is already learning how to use German self-propelled anti-aircraft guns Gepard

Ukrainian soldiers arrived in Germany learning to use German Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns.

What is known

This was reported by the publication Lübecker Nachrichten. Training began at the training grounds of the German armed forces in Schleswig-Holstein. Currently, about 100 Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers are participating in the exercises.

Let us remind you that Germany will transfer 30 Gepards to Ukraine alreadythis summer. This anti-aircraft self-propelled gun is designed to cover ground forces, destroy air targets at slant ranges from 100 m to 4 km and at altitudes up to 3 km, flying at speeds up to 350-400 m/s, as well as ground and surface targets from a range of up to 4500 meters. By the way, Gepard is built on the chassis of the Leopard tank. The installation has been manufactured by Krauss-Maffei since the mid-70s.
