MediaTek continues to expand its line of processors supporting the fifth generation network. Today
What is known
The new SoC is located behind the Dimensity 800 chip.It is built on TSMC's 7nm process technology and has two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores that operate at 2GHz. The new product also received a Mali G57 graphics accelerator, support for LPDDR4X RAM up to 12 GB, UFS 2.2 storage and an integrated 5G modem. It operates on sub-6GH networks and supports dual SIM as well as MediaTek 5G UltraSave technology. It analyzes the quality of the network and regulates the modem's power consumption.

Interestingly, Dimensity 720 still hasNote the support for multiple cameras with a resolution of one module up to 64 MP or two at 20 MP + 16 MP, displays with a frequency of up to 90 Hz along with advanced video streaming capabilities, including MiraVision HDR10+. Naturally, it could not do without AI functions, as well as an integrated proprietary APU module.
