Mega nostalgia: SEGA showed Mega Drive Mini with a classic design and 40 games

Following the mini version of TurboGrafx-16, SEGA Mega Drive Mini will appear on store shelves, and gamers are finally told

Like previous mini consoles, SEGA Mega DriveMini will not receive a slot for cartridges, so you will have to play in pre-installed projects. The updated SMD will receive 40 built-in games, among which will be Sonic, Comix Zone, Shinobi 3, Streets of Rage and Road Rush. The company also promises two bonus projects, which will be Tetris and Darius. All games on the list will receive support for high-definition TVs.

The design of the SEGA Mega Drive Mini will remain the samelet the console down and decrease in size. In the box next to the console, there will be two classic gamepads, HDMI and a power cable. On the European shelves, SEGA Mega Drive Mini will appear on October 4, 2019 with $ 80 price tags, and North Americans will be able to play on September 19. Pre-orders are already open.
