MegaFon has developed a concept for the Internet of Things platform for Russian supervisory agencies

The Industrial Internet of Things platform will allow agencies to automatically collect data from

supervised objects - for example, from smart cash registers or utility meters. The concept had to be approved by July 30, and the platform should be operational in 2019.

The platform is based on Russian equipment.and open source software, MegaFon representatives told the publication. It will allow monitoring and controlling emissions of industrial enterprises and transport, as well as working conditions, collecting and analyzing data, predicting negative impacts and forming fines.

Previously, developers of the concept of Internet developmentof things in Russia offered to give law enforcement agencies and special services the right to access information stored on household devices with Internet access (IoT).
