Meizu 16s in TENAA: 6.2-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 855 chip and dual camera

The new flagship Meizu 16s has been certified by the TENAA regulator. She revealed all the main features of the device.

What is known

Meizu 16, like its predecessor, will receive 6.2-inch AMOLED-display with a subscreen scanner and a resolution of Full HD +. The new product will not be holes, cutouts or leaving the front camera. Instead, the engineer managed to make a thin frame around the screen and at the same time place on them a speaker and a 20-megapixel front camera.

Under the hood of the flagship there will be a top-endSnapdragon 855 processor clocked at 2.8 GHz and a 3600 mAh battery with 24-watt fast charging. The smartphone will also receive 6/8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of ROM and a dual main camera of 48 MP (Sony IMX586) + 20 MP.

The device will run on Android 9 Pie with the Flyme UI shell. The new product is also credited with the presence of an NFC module for contactless Google Pay payments.

Price and when to wait

Meizu has not yet announced the announcement date of the flagship, but according to rumors, the presentation will take place this month. The price tag of the smartphone will be $450-500.
