Meizu, as promised, today in China held a presentation of its new flagship smartphone - Meizu
What a beast
The device has become an improved version of the regular Meizu16s, which was shown in April of this year. The new product is no different in appearance from its younger brother. It has the same glass body with a 6.2-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display without holes or cutouts. The fingerprint scanner is installed under the screen. According to the company, the display has become 25% more responsive than that of Meizu 16s. It supports DCI-P3, NTSC color gamut and DC Dimming function.

Meizu 16s Pro boasts a triple modulemain camera. Sony IMX586 main sensor 48 MP with f/1.7 aperture and optical stabilization (OIS). Next comes a 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 telephoto lens with f/2.4 and a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 wide lens with f/2.2 and a coverage angle of 117 degrees. The front camera in the device is 20 megapixels with AI functions and AI beauty mode. The Face Unlock function also works through it.

The smartphone has the latest processorSnapdragon 855 Plus with a clock frequency of 2.96 GHz, 6/8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 256 GB of UFS 3.0 ROM and a 3700 mAh battery with 24-watt fast charging. The new product also received new-generation stereo speakers, an mEngine 3.0 vibration motor, NFC, a USB-C port and a headphone jack. For now, the smartphone runs on the proprietary Flyme OS 7 shell, but will soon receive Flyme OS 8.

Meizu has already opened pre-orders for the smartphone in China with the following prices:
