One of the first third-party widgets for Windows 11 could be Messenger from Meta. On Wednesday, Microsoft said

Looks like the widget is only available to membersInsider Preview program, so most people won't be able to try it out just yet. Microsoft reports that third-party widgets have a few issues in the system, such as their sudden disappearance from the widget panel for a while, so it's best to wait for the full release of the feature and enjoy it without incident.
