Meta is preparing new features for WhatsApp, they are already being tested on Android, iOS and PC

Meta continues to improve the WhatsApp app with new useful features.

What is known

According to wabetainfo, Meta is testingin-app picture-in-picture mode for calls on iOS devices. The new feature will be enabled by default, but you can disable it in the settings if you wish.

Also WhatsApp will soon have photo protectionand video. The innovation will be called View Once and is already being tested on Android. The function will be one-time messages. Such SMS cannot be saved, shared, copied, or screenshot taken.
