Meta continues to improve the WhatsApp application by adding new useful features to it.

According to the portal wabetainfo, Meta is testingThe app has a “Picture in Picture” mode for calls on iOS devices. The new feature will be enabled by default, but can be disabled in the settings if desired.

WhatsApp will also soon introduce photo protectionand video. The innovation will be called View Once and is already being tested on Android. The function will be one-time messages. Such SMS cannot be saved, shared, copied, or screenshotted.

WhatsApp is also testing a status list for PC. This will allow users to see status updates from the conversation list.
