Meta has launched testing the creation and sale of non-fungible tokens (NFT) on Instagram.

Instagram users will soon be able to createNFTs, as well as selling them both within the social network itself and outside it. For now, this feature is available in test mode for a limited number of authors in the United States.

Meta states that the purchase will be fulfilledthrough the Instagram apps for Android and iOS. Until at least 2024, the company does not plan to charge a commission from authors when selling non-fungible tokens. Moreover, it will cover the network commission. Instagram works with Coinbase Wallet, Dapper Wallet, Rainbow, MetaMask and Trust Wallet.
