Is Microsoft already planning Windows 12? This question arises after the recent leak of information about the desktop platform
What is known
Recently, a tipster tweeted about the nextIntel desktop platform – Meteor Lake, the characteristics of which indicated that processors built on the platform will support Windows 12. Shortly after publication, the tweet was deleted. Even so, another source also indicated that Meteor Lake is expected to support 20 PCIe Gen5 lanes and Windows 12. The Verge reached out to Intel for comment, but the company declined to provide one.
While Microsoft hasn't said anything about Windows yet12, there are already signs that the next versions will still be, and they will have a tight integration of artificial intelligence, which the company is now trying to use to the maximum.
