Microsoft began preparing computers for the big Windows update

Windows 10 version 21H1 is coming soon, and Microsoft has already started preparing computers for it. The company distributes a new

patch KB4023057. Its purpose is to fix problems with Windows Update settings.

The patch includes improvements to improveReliability of Windows Update in Windows 10 20H2, 20H1 and earlier. The update will try to "fix" corrupted system files that may affect the update process in the future.

The KB4023057 patch is rolling out to devices gradually and will be installed automatically if required.

The update itself on Windows 10 version 21H1, orthe so-called spring update will soon start rolling out to testers. A future update should, in particular, bring improvements to the Settings section.
