The complex and multi-stage process of litigating the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard continues.

All sides

are trying to achieve their interests and each of them conveys its arguments to regulators.

What is it this time

Microsoft Vice President of Communications FrankShaw (Frank X. Shaw) said on Twitter that the main opponent of the largest deal in the gaming industry – Japanese giant Sony, to put it mildly, is misinforming EU regulators.

According to Frank Shaw, Sony claims not toreceived offers from Microsoft for a ten-year contract to release Call of Duty on PlayStation consoles, although this is a lie. The American corporation repeatedly offered cooperation to the Japanese competitor and was ready to make concessions. But Sony ignored this proposal, and now claims that it is the first time they hear about it.

Frank Shaw reiterated that Microsoft does not seek a monopoly in the gaming market and has no plans for Call of Duty exclusivity.

We hope that EU regulators will understand the testimony of both sides and make the right decision.
