The company said that the threat comes from a certain Russian hacker group that implements campaigns called Seaborgium, "whose goals are close to the state interests of the Russian Federation."
According to a report by Microsoft researchers, the goalsSeaborgium are NATO countries as well as some individuals. The hackers also carried out cyberattacks on the infrastructure of Ukraine, although this was not their priority.
