This file contains a script that mentions CoinHive. It is a browser-based miner for the Monero (XMR) cryptocurrency, but CoinHive announced its closure back in March 2019.
“As the world mourns the loss of an NBA legend, cybercriminals, as expected, are taking advantage of this tragedy,” Microsoft said.
Let us remind you that Kobe Bryant is a 41-year-old Americanprofessional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association for twenty seasons for one team, the Los Angeles Lakers. On January 26, he died in a plane crash: his private helicopter crashed near Los Angeles, California. Eight more people died in the crash, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and family friends. They were all flying to a basketball game at Bryant's Mamba Academy.
