Microsoft founder leaves company’s board of directors

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has left the company's board of directors. He decided to focus on

charity.

In particular, Bill is interested in the healthcare and education sectors. In addition, Gates wants to take an active role in the fight against climate change.

Microsoft's official statement also said that the company's founder will continue to serve as a technology advisor to the CEO.

Gates also stepped down from the board of directors of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Investment Fund.

Note that today there are 12 people remaining on the Microsoft board of directors. The company's CEO is Satya Nadella.
