Microsoft has speeded up the loading times of its Xbox Series X/S consoles. The latest test firmware for Xbox Insider is “cold”
This was achieved by reducing the startinganimations with the Xbox logo. If earlier it lasted about nine seconds, now about four, respectively. In general, the time from the first launch to the transition to the dashboard is now approximately 15 seconds.
It is noted that owners of the Xbox Series X / S will benefit from the innovation only if their consoles are put into power saving mode. But in Stand By mode, there will be no improvements.
