Microsoft introduced the Designer application for creating images from text using the DALL-E neural network

Surface Laptop 5, Surface Studio 2+ and Surface Pro 9 were not the only new Microsoft products announced at the fall

presentations. The company introduced an application that can create images.

What is known

The software is called Designer.It can create graphic images using a text description. The application is based on artificial intelligence. Designer uses two deep learning text-to-picture models: Stable Diffusion and DALL-E.

As planned by the developers, the softwarewill be used to create logos, postcards and illustrations in PowerPoint. Users can now apply to test Designer. The app will be available for free in the future, but Microsoft will develop a more advanced version of Designer for Microsoft 365 customers.
