Microsoft invents computerized backpack for students and athletes

A new Microsoft patent has appeared online, which describes a computerized backpack for students and

sports enthusiasts: tourists, skiers, etc. The backpack can receive commands from the owner.

The backpack invented by Microsoft can usesensors in order to read information about the environment. In addition, it can use artificial intelligence algorithms to recognize surrounding objects. The backpack can respond to user requests by means of a voice assistant.

With the new backpack Microsoft wants to solvethe problem of low relevance of voice assistants, which are used mainly at home. Using them outside the home may not be the most convenient. For example, you need to take out a smartphone and press something on it to call an assistant. On the way or when your hands are busy (for example, with ski poles), this can be inconvenient.
