Microsoft is teaming up with research company OpenAI to develop its cloud platform.

Both teams will work onimproving computing technologies and AI in Microsoft Azure. Under the terms of the agreement, OpenAI will launch its services exclusively in the Microsoft cloud. Ultimately, the partners hope to create artificial intelligence (AGI) that matches or even exceeds human intelligence.
In a press release, representatives of OpenAIadded that AGI can also help solve the problems of climate change, affordable and high-quality healthcare, as well as personalized education.
