Mike says he’s moving to Blizzard onposition of executive vice president and general manager. Ibarra will only sit in her chair on November 4 and will even visit Blizzcon, where perhaps Blizzard will officially introduce the new employee.

At Microsoft, Ibarra worked with the Gears of series.War, Age of Empires and Sunset Overdrive, and in recent years spent on the development of Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass and Mixer. What the new manager will do at Blizzard is not yet known. It is possible that Mike will take on the development of Diablo 4 and the new Overwatch, which are rumored to show at BlizzCon 2019.
