Microsoft, without fanfare, announced its new laptop - Surface Laptop 4.

You can tell by the name that the device issuccessor to Surface Laptop 3, which was released in 2019. The new product has the same appearance, but updated characteristics. The laptop is available in two sizes (13.5″ or 15″), and with 11th Gen Intel or AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors. According to the company, Surface Laptop 4 has become 70% more powerful and more autonomous. It can work up to 19 hours on a single charge.

The ports on the device include USB-A, USB-C, 3.5 mm and Surface Connect for fast charging, but Thunderbolt was never introduced as a new product. As for other specifications, they remain the same: 8/16/32 GB of RAM, 256/512/1 TB SDD, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, stereo speakers, studio microphone and 47.4 Wh battery.

Price and when to wait

Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 is already on sale in four colors. For the basic 13.5″ version with a Ryzen 5 chip and 8/256 GB of memory they ask for $999.
