If you do not have Xbox Series X, or it is "out of range", then xCloud uses updated servers based on the next generation Microsoft consoles.

It is expected that the cloud service will allow playinggames up to 1080p. This, of course, is less than what the Series X is capable of on its own. But still more than the previous 720p that xCloud was capable of before.
