The host of the YouTube channel “Honest Blog” found out which middle-class model is worth purchasing only because

cameras: Xiaomi 12X, Realme 9 Pro Plus, Realme GT Neo 3 or Galaxy A53. Discuss

Honest Blog expert Phil on YouTubecompared four mid-range smartphones in terms of photo and video quality. Among them were Xiaomi 12X, Realme 9 Pro Plus, Realme GT Neo 3 and Galaxy A53.

First of all, the presenter appreciated the work of the frontal, main and wide-angle cameras in video recording. Unlike everyone else, when shooting in daylight on the front camera, Xiaomi 12X strongly illuminates the background. That is, the sky is not visible on it at all. In addition, the image on it becomes either lighter or darker.

When shooting video with a wide-angle camera in FullHD 30 fps on different smartphones produces different color renditions. For example, the sun on A53 appears yellow, while on the others – closer to white. In addition, the picture itself during the day on Samsung turns out darker than on Xiaomi. In terms of dynamic range, Realme 9 Pro Plus is worse.

At night, a little worse than the rest in video recordingSamsung shows itself on the main camera in Full HD. At the same time, very dark pictures are obtained on Xiaomi 12X and especially on Realme GT Neo 3. Also on Realme 9 Pro Plus, bright objects have a reddish tint.

In 4K, stabilization when shooting on the main camera is bad for everyone. But Xiaomi 12X shows itself a little better than the rest in this regard.

The ultra wide-angle camera in Full HD 30 fps hasthe smallest viewing angle on the 9 Pro Plus. In this mode, as well as when using the main camera, Samsung strongly illuminates bright objects. It also turns out to be worse in terms of noise and detail.

With regard to photographs, the expert began withanalysis of evening, day and macro shots. Realme 9 Pro Plus did the best with evening photos. Although at the same time it illuminated the sky quite strongly.

On a wide-angle lens, the evening shots were brighter and more saturated than the rest on Samsung. At the same time, detailing is the worst in photos from this smartphone.

With digital zoom (there is no optical on any of the devices), the 9 Pro Plus again showed itself better than the others.

Daytime photos are slightly darker on the Samsung A53.The rest of the day shots are very close. Although it must be said that the main camera is a little weaker in detail on Samsung too, and the wide-angle one is better than the rest on Xiaomi 12X.

Macro shots come out better than the rest on the Realme 9 Pro Plus, according to the presenter.

In general, during the day, the Realme 9 Pro Plus takes the brightest photos compared to the rest. In terms of details, the Samsung A53 is a little worse than other smartphone models.

Night photos on Xiaomi 12X are toolight. In terms of details, everyone is about the same, but Samsung seems to be losing again. As for the white balance, it is consistently worse than the rest on the Realme 9 Pro Plus.

In portrait photographs during the day, Xiaomi is overexposedthe background. Realme 9 Pro Plus copes best with the background. But there are more details on the Xiaomi 12X. In the evening, the pictures are generally weak, but better than others – on Samsung and Xiaomi.

Selfie photos during the day look very differentprocessing images, and it is difficult to say which one is better. But when it comes to details, Samsung does a very good job. In the evening and at night the photos are not particularly high quality. However, 12X performs worse than the others here. And in general, we can say that the front camera is the weakest – from Xiaomi 12X.

Conclusion

According to the expert, it is impossible to distinguishwinner from Xiaomi 12X, Realme 9 Pro Plus, Realme GT Neo 3 and Galaxy A53. This is due to the fact that all these smartphones take good photos and each have their own drawbacks.
