Although Sony is definitely not a role model in terms of speed of releasing software updates
for its few smartphones, the companyclearly striving to improve. By this time, all the flagships of last year and the year before had already switched to the current Android 13, and recently the mid-range Xperia 10 IV joined them. Now, a month later, its predecessor, the Xperia 10 III, released in April 2021, is receiving the long-awaited update. Among the innovations are a new quick settings panel and lock screen, a gesture for quickly launching a QR code scanner, an option to adapt system colors to the installed wallpaper and other minor improvements. The update is already available for the dual SIM model (XQ-BT52), released for the Asian and European markets.
