Square Enix shared the first Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day gameplay trailer, showing the first mission of the game.
In an 18-minute clip, Tor, IronMan, Black Widow, Hulk and Captain America. Each hero showed his abilities in a direct skirmish with opponents, including special techniques and combos. The first level looks linear: the characters move from point A to point B, scattering enemies. From time to time, the player switches between the heroes, allowing all members of the Avengers team to try.
Still, it’s worth remembering that this is a training level,so the developers deliberately limit the player to the corridor, leading by the hand. It is also worth noting that Marvel’s Avengers has many cut scenes and QTEs in which the player must quickly press the specified button. According to Square Enix, the game will focus on the plot, so this move is not surprising.
After completing a single player campaign for players“end game” content will open, but what exactly is expected for gamers is not yet clear. The developers "stuttered" about cooperative missions, as well as regular updates with new locations and heroes. Perhaps the players will still be allowed into the open world.
Recall that Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day will be released May 15 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.
