What is known
We are talking about completely wirelesssecond generation AirPods Pro headphones. Now the model has a case with a proprietary Lightning connector. According to Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the USB-C headphone case will be released later this year. Perhaps the new product will be shown along with the iPhone 15 in the fall.
I think this is likely the USB-C version of theAirPods Pro 2, with mass shipments expected in 2Q23-3Q23. By the way, Apple currently appears to have no plans for USB-C versions of the AirPods 2 & 3.

As for other specifications of AirPods Pro, thenthey won't change. The headphones will receive a proprietary H2 processor, active noise reduction (ANC), transparency mode, speakers and support for the Find My function. The price of the device will not change - $249.
By the way, as for AirPods 2 and AirPods 3, Apple does not yet plan to transfer these headphone models to USB-C.
