The new product received the same name, but a littleanother filling. The smartphone is powered by an eight-core 7-nanometer MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The SoC has a built-in 5G modem, as well as two powerful Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2.2 GHz and six energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2.0 GHz. The chip comes paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

Other features of the device include 6.5-inch IPS HD+ screen at 90 Hz, NFC, side scanner, 5000 mAh battery with 15-watt charging, microSD slot, as well as a 48 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP main camera and a 13 MP front camera.

The new Moto G50 5G version will only be sold in Australia for now. The smartphone will cost $289.
