Motorola has announced another smartphone of the Edge 40 series. The novelty is called Motorola Edge 40.
What is known
The smartphone has a body with dimensions of 158.4 x72 x7.6 mm and IP68 waterproof. The weight of the device is 167 g or 171 g. The frame is made of aluminum, and the back cover is made of plastic, but there are versions with a coating and artificial leather.

Motorola Edge 40 gets a P-OLED displayFull HD+. The panel supports 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and has a brightness of up to 1200 nits. The screen size is 6.55". The display has an in-display fingerprint scanner and a cutout for a 32MP selfie camera.
The novelty is equipped with a 6-nm Dimensity 8020 processor,which is complemented by 8 GB of RAM. The storage capacity is 256 GB, the battery capacity is 4400 mAh, and the fast charging power is 68 W (wired) and 15 W (wireless).
Motorola Edge 40 is equipped with a dual maincamera with a resolution of 50 MP + 13 MP. The 13 MP sensor is complemented by optics with a viewing angle of 120 degrees. The main module received optical stabilization. The camera can shoot video in 4K at 30 FPS and in Full HD at 30-120 FPS.

The novelty has acquired stereo speakers with supportDolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 LE, NFC, GPS and USB-C. There is no headphone jack. The model runs on the Android 13 operating system.

The smartphone will go on sale in three color options: Nebula Green, Eclipse Black and Lunar Blue. Motorola Edge 40 cost €550.
