MTS accidentally “issued an invoice” to subscribers for 500 million rubles

On September 18, some MTS subscribers might have been scared when they saw their balance in the application’s personal account

operator. So, the company accidentally “billed” subscribers for 500 million rubles.

An unusual incident was reported by the Russianexpert and editor-in-chief of the mobile-review website Eldar Murtazin. It is noted that in addition to the fact that subscribers were faced with an incorrect balance, they had problems with communication and the Internet for almost a day. Users willingly shared screenshots of “sky-high” balances. As we can see, some subscribers had "arrears" of 5, 38, or even 500 million rubles. MTS representatives, in turn, did not comment on this problem.
