MWC 2020: what everyone expected from the exhibition, which was canceled

Before MWC 2020, more and more information appeared that some large companies would either cancel their

press conference, or will miss it altogetherevent. Blame it all – fears due to the Chinese coronavirus outbreak. However, everything went according to the worst-case scenario, and the organizers canceled the exhibition. We have prepared a shortlist of expected new products that could be shown at one of the world's largest mobile industry exhibitions.

Information about what MWC will have this yeardifficulties, began to arrive on February 5th. And if the ZTE press service, after a huge amount of news about the cancellation of its participation, nevertheless denied the information, then LG immediately refused to participate. Other companies followed suit, and MWC now looks set to be an online-only event this year – without noisy pavilions and press conferences. Barcelona already estimates losses from the cancellation of the MWC at at least $500 million.
