The manufacturer with the best online sales of smartphones in Russia has been named. This became clear from the calculations
Xiaomi has become the leader in online sales, writesVedomosti publication. In terms of Russian market share in units, the manufacturer was ahead of the Honor brand by 1% in November. By February, this gap increased by 4%. 25% of smartphones sold in Russia via the Internet were Xiaomi models.
In March, the company's share fell to 23%, but itstill remained the leader. Interestingly, Honor’s share only continued to decline – from 21% to 19% over the month. Now the brand is in third place after Samsung (22.6%).
Experts believe that Xiaomi is leading due to pricing policy, as well as active marketing promotion.
