The Svyaznoy retail chain found out which smartphones Russians most often bought in the period from December 1 to December 7

January. The study authors believe that these gadgets were most likely purchased as gifts.

According to a press release from Svyaznoy, the average bill forthe purchase of a smartphone in chain stores and the online store svyaznoy.ru during the specified period amounted to 14.5 thousand rubles. The most frequently purchased devices were:

1. Samsung Galaxy A50;
2. Honor 7A;
3. Honor 8A.

Russians spent the most money on the Samsung Galaxy A50, Apple iPhone 11 (128 GB) and Apple iPhone XR (64 GB).

Representatives of the "Messenger" believe that the RussiansThey prefer to buy smartphones as a gift, largely due to profitable promotions during the holiday season. In the distribution network, for example, until January 10, the action “Be like Santa Claus” is valid, within which each buyer can save up to 30% on purchases. Also, Russians actively used Trade-in and Multi Trade-In programs, which allowed exchanging old phones for new ones.
