The most profitable game of 2019 was the online shooter Fortnite. It brought developer Epic Games $1.8 billion.
This became known from a report by company analystsSuperData Research. The total revenue of the video game industry was $120 billion, of which $30 billion came from PC games. The creators of shareware projects earned the most money (80% of the total amount).
In second place in terms of profitability were twogames - Dungeon Fighter Online and Honor of Kings. Each of them brought its developers $ 1.6 billion each. League of Legends with $ 1.5 billion was in third place.
