NASA and Elon Musk's SpaceX launched the first regular flight to the ISS on the Crew Dragon

On November 16 at 2:27 Kyiv time, NASA and Elon Musk’s SpaceX launched the first regular flight to the ISS on

manned spacecraft Crew Dragon.

What is known

The mission was named Crew-1.The launch took place at Launch Pad 39-A at the John F. Kennedy Space Center. Four pilots went to the International Space Station: NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker and Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi. The flight is proceeding as normal. It will last 27 hours. The ship's arrival is scheduled for November 17 at 6 a.m. Kyiv time. The astronauts will stay on the station for six months.

Why is it important

Crew-1 is the first commercial flight of SpaceX.This spring, the Crew Dragon ship already delivered two pilots to the ISS, but then the flight was a test. The current mission is also notable because it involves an international crew, not just NASA astronauts.
