NASA publishes video of the last Ingenuity helicopter flight on Mars

 The  total distance of all Ingenuity operational flights over the Red Planet was 1.6 km.The Western press notes the "first mile" of the Martian helicopter.

The last launch of Ingenuity took place on July 24.In the course of it, Ingenuity performed several maneuvers and reached 10 waypoints.The helicopter flew over the ridges in the southern part of the Jezero crater, where the Perseverance rover landed at the end of February this year.There, the rover will look for traces of microbial life.

As stated by NASA, the visual data thatIngenuity received during the flight will help the mission team plot a safe route to explore the region of Mars called the Raised Ridges. It is noted that scientists call this area "very intriguing" to study.
