NASA showed how to deliver soil samples from Mars to Earth using the Mars Ascent Vehicle rocket

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) showed how it

plans to take soil samples from Mars and bring them to Earth for study.

What is known

The Perseverance rover has been around for monthscollecting soil samples on Mars. During this time, he was able to find and pack 14 rock samples. In addition, scientists intend to obtain a sample of the atmosphere of the Red Planet.

Test tubes with materials will go to Earth as part of the Mars Sample Return Mission (MSR). It will be organized by NASA in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA).

A rocket will go to the Red Planet for samplesMars Ascent Vehicle (MAV). The Perseverance drone will load the samples onto a rocket that will deliver them to near-Martian orbit. The Earth Return Orbiter (ERO) spacecraft will then send a set of samples back to Earth. Separately, it is worth noting that MAV will deliver two more rovers to Mars, which will help Perseverance reload samples into a rocket.
