The company said that as early as next month it will begin testing its AR glasses in everyday life, and not just in laboratories.
We will start small-scale testing atpublic places AR glasses to be worn by a few dozen Google employees and select trusted testers. These prototypes will be equipped with lens-mounted displays, microphones and cameras, but their capabilities will be severely limited. For example, our AR prototypes do not support taking photos or videos, although image data will be used to enable features such as translating the menu in front of you or guiding you to the nearest coffee shop.
