paid $39,340. Having learned about this, American Karen Green found her smartphone among old things and wants to sell it for even more.

What is known

Karen put up for auction the first iPhone model, which was released back in 2007. The smartphone is in its original packaging, it has never been printed or used.

Friends gave the phone to the woman in 2007 afterhow I got a management job at PetSmart. But at that time she already had three devices with the Verizon mobile operator. And since the original iPhone was only compatible with AT&T, Karen decided to put the gift aside and never used it.

In 2019, they offered $5,000 for a smartphone, but the owner left him until better times. And now they have come: a woman needs finance for her business, and the price of a rare iPhone is more than attractive.

The auction house LCG Auctions plans to sell the lot for $50 thousand. For comparison, in 2007 the gadget cost $500. The auction started on February 2 and will last until February 19.
