Earlier, KRET created an air purification system"Thiocraft", which completely decomposes viruses: it combines mechanical filtration of organic pollutants with their subsequent complete decomposition under the influence of soft ultraviolet radiation.
During the oxidation of organic impuritiesbacteria and viruses are completely destroyed, dangerous phenols, formaldehydes and other harmful substances are removed. It is also noted that Tiokraft is coping with the new coronavirus infection.
Now they want to use this technology for the ISS.
Work is currently underway to create a cleaning systemair based on «Tiokraft» technology for the ISS. The device, according to the technical specifications of Roscosmos, will be ready by autumn. We plan to send the device into orbit next year.
