New, but not quite: the likely design of the iPad 2022 is revealed by CAD models

In recent years, Apple has redesigned most of its gadgets, for some reason leaving them unnoticed

basic iPad.Well, the same one with a round button at the bottom and wide frames straight out of 2010. Some speculation has suggested that the 10th generation iPad (2022) will still feature the modern design of the iPad Air. But Apple probably has other plans in this regard: today CAD renderings from a case manufacturer surfaced on the Internet, according to which the iPad 10 will inherit the flat edges in the style of the older iPad, while retaining the wide frames and the Touch ID button.

It is also curious that the design of the mainthe camera on the lid noticeably echoes Samsung's Galaxy Tab S7 SE. Finally, we cannot fail to mention the transition to the USB-C connector, which is already used in all the latest generations of iPads. We will only be able to find out how true this render is closer to mid-September, when Apple's autumn presentation will take place.
