Qualcomm introduced the flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 at the end of 2022, and is now working on it
What is known
The first appeared on the Weibo social networkdetails about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. According to the leak, the new SoC will receive an updated core layout: 1+5+2 instead of 1+4+3. The chip will be equipped with a new high-performance Cortex X4 core with a clock frequency of 3.2 GHz. It will also receive five Cortex A720 cores at 3.0 GHz and two Cortex A520 at 2.0 GHz.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 should support built-inUFS 4.1 memory, LPDDR5 drive, as well as the new Qualcomm X75 5G modem and Adreno 750 graphics. Like the current generation of the chip, the new product will be built using TSMC’s 4-nanometer process technology.
When to expect
Unfortunately, you shouldn't expect the release of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 anytime soon. The chip should be announced at the end of the year.
