The launch of Soyuz-2 in a new design is scheduled for 20March 2021. It is reported that the rocket will be painted in white and blue instead of the standard gray and orange combination. The creators were inspired by the prototype of the Vostok launch vehicle, which can be seen at VDNH. This prototype is painted white.
But the gray color was replaced with corporate blue. The color of the transition compartment, which was gray, will also change. It will also turn blue.
Roskosmos expects that other launches in 2021 under contracts with Glavkosmos Launch Services will be carried out in a new color scheme.
