New electric flight for two people accelerates to 130 km / h

The Chinese company XPeng Motors has released the fifth generation of electric aircraft. Their newest version is Voyager X2.

For the first time, an electric flight featured a cabin that was suitable for flights at a distance of a kilometer above the ground. The fuselage is made of carbon fiber: together with the battery, the total weight of the device is about 400 kg.

The new electric plane lifts no more than 200 kg of cargo,therefore, only two people can be taken on board, including the pilot. The battery charge is enough to stay in the air for about 30 minutes, the maximum flight speed about this will be 130 km / h.

According to the developers, the standard autopilot system can control the aircraft along a predetermined route, adhering to a given altitude and speed.
